Abilities:

1. Dragonic Manipulation - Much like Priel, by tapping into her dragonic blood, Patch can cause parts of her body to change shape to those of a dragon's. Dragon claws, feet, horns, wings, or other such things. Her scales when when using this ability are dark blue. Unlike her sister Priel, Patch has much more experience with this ability and actually keeps more dragon features out then her sister does. Considering this, she does not get sick from manipulating her dragon blood like her sister does. It's her strongest ability.

2. Light Manipulation - Making use of her light affinity, Patch is fluent in the healing arts. Ranging from closing wounds, mending bones, and purging foreign afflictions to the body. Though her ability to heal is strong, healing others constantly at a rapid pace will drain her energy. Even to the point of unconsciousness depending on the volume. Though not used very often, her abilities can also be used to purge evil beings like undead, ghosts, wraiths, and other apparitions. This is her second strongest ability.

3. Wind Manipulation - Patch can manipulate the wind to produce various magical effects ranging from strong gusts, wind blades, mini twisters, and then non offensive things like bursts of speed, improved jumping ability, and so on. This is her third strongest ability.

Personality:

Patchoulli is a quiet person. She is not anti social however. She will smile and engage in conversation with no problems. She doesn't trust people however and she won't hesitate to let you know that she doesn't trust you. She's very to the point, even around those that could be considered 'friends', perhaps even more so. In that respect, Patchoulli could possibly be considered a cold person. It takes a whole lot to get Patch to truly open up and drop her fake smile. But once she does, one will find that she is a greater friend than one could have asked for.

When around children, Patch's act melts away, giving way to a happier person. Considering her relatively high maturity, she tends to act like a mother to those close to her, listening to their problems, offering her own help, or giving advice.

Though Patch is a rather capable combatant; she would prefer not to fight. Or rather, she generally is not the one that would instigate a fight. However, if she is threatened, or something she cares about is threatened, Patch will not hesitate to attack.

Background:

Patchoulli is the younger sister of Priel. She lived together with her and the rest of their family up until a certain event years ago. But before that, it was a rather happy life. Priel took the lead in everything and would naturally pick on her. While her sister gravitated towards swords and physical activities, Patchoulli gravitated towards magical studies and academics. She found that the things Priel did were of no interest to her and eventually fell off of her training entirely.

This would prove to be a mistake when some years down the line, an enemy of their father would show up on their doorstep. In the ensuing disaster, their father was killed and their mother was wounded. The two sisters tried to fight off their assailent, but he proved to be too much in the end. Priel was bested and then in a rather inexplicable move, he took Patchoulli. Kidnapping the girl, he left behind a broken family to pick up the pieces.

Patchoulli found herself stuck with this strange man for very little time. A month at best. He did not harm her, he put only the most basic of efforts into taking care of her. It seemed like he had no need for her at all. And he would not tell her anything when asked. Especially not why he killed her father. This situation eventually culminated into his simply letting the girl go. Off into the cold wilderness of Northern Vidarus by herself, Patchoulli struggled. She refused to turn back to the man, who eventually vanished, and she had no idea where in the world she was, having not left the gates of Vingard ever.

It was through these harsh years that Patchoulli was forced to fight, improve her abilities, and survive. She continued to live like this, traveling the wilderness, going from town to town and taking on odd jobs for money. If there was one thing the girl refused to do, it was steal. All this time, she thought about her family, her dead father, the mysterious man who seemed to have killed him for no given reason, her mother and sister, both of which she couldn't be sure whether they were okay, and her own despair at the life she was given. But those thoughts eventually left her mind...

As fate would have it, while traveling somewhere between Bertea and Mount Svotonov, Patchoulli came upon a remote house seemingly in the middle of being sacked by bandits. Not a terribly large number mind you. Only three of them. Patchoulli would have minded her own business and moved along, cold as it may seem, but something caught her sight over with the situation. The sight of a woman, motionless on the ground. She was clearly dead. Murdered if the blood seeping into the snow was any indication. And the scared cries of children inside were clearly audible to her as well. Figuring that even if she was passing by, she was already too deep in. She decided to take the matter into her own hands and stopped the bandits, refraining just barely from soing to them what they did to the poor woman laying outside.

It would seem that this house was an orphanage. About five children were housed there and being taken care of by the poor woman. It seemed she was killed trying to defend the place and the children. Unable to turn her eyes away from the situation and remembering her own situation from years back, Patchoulli decided to stay there and take care of those children. Becoming the orphanage's new caretaker.

With a new purpose in her life, her thoughts of revenge, her family, and her sadness would gradually vanish, giving way to responsibility and new hope...

- She is capable of taking on a more human appearance similar to Priel....she just prefers not to if she can help it.

- She hasn't met her sister or mother in years. She doesn't even know if they're alive or dead or where they are. But then Patch doesn't seem to want to bother finding them to begin with. Not with her current responsibilities.

- She's rarely seen in towns and cities, but she occasionally makes trips because she has to restock the house's supplies or sell whatever medical concoctions she's made. Her medicines are actually rather effective, so she makes a rather respectable amount off of her work. She still spends most of it on the kids and not herself in the end anyway.

- Her weapon is a complete mystery. It looks like a shield, but it's too thin to really be a useful one. It must be some kind of magic artifact. It glows when Patch uses magic and a faint green or white blade can be seen emanating from the bottom end when she channels magic into it.

- Her kids found her name hard to say, so in the end, they started calling her Patch. It's stuck since then, even after they learned how to say it correctly.
