One more submission I hope this is it for a while.

Yet another piece I've put off for too long. I did an earlier rendition of it last year around the time after Fluffo's death. Trying to keep my art groove, but it didn't hold, with the combination of a dead cat AND legal crap.

I really like Mercedes from the game Odin Sphere. Not very engaging in game play (Cornelius the Pooka is much more fun to play; you get to do the spinning bunny sword of death), but her story really got me hooked. (Spoilers) When her mother died during the Asier vs. Venier, she succeeded to the thrown, which was a lot for a little fairy her age. She managed to pull through, with help from her loyal subjects [friends] and a frog-turned human named Ingway.

I relate to her a lot because huge responsibilities, quite frankly, scares me, because I know how disabled I am. Plus, losing a loved one is literally heartbreaking to go through during a time of strife, yet this eager little fairy was able to do her mother proud (despite Armageddon happening later on in the game, I think she did great). I owe myself that much to finish this piece, since I'm going through some tough time.

I've never tried the Critique Request thing before, but if anyone wants to give a shot at this, feel free.
