Seems 2019 is going to be the year of revamps. Mein Herz Brennt was a work I did back in 2009 that I always loved, but felt like it was not good enough. Here is the original for comparison: Mein Herz Brennt - 2009 OriginalStock Used:

I do like the older version more, because of it's rough textures and the contrasting black and white tones.
Generally I am not a huge fan of reworking older artworks.
But that's my personal preference. Your updated version looks very good, too!
