Heheh, big fan of his already :3 you could say Pratchett is my English teacher, as his are the only books I intentionally read in English as they are funnier on the original language. Was partly inspired by him, too :3
Thanks for commenting!

Ah...turtles in space make me think of Stephen King's IT. This is really quite beautiful. The coloring is the most amazing part, although I would've put more color in the space part, like a dark purple black hole. Don't ask me why but for some reason my attention is drawn to the dust like cloud behind the turtle. Nice job!

Indeed. The details are so crispy and much-telling, and everything kinda fits in; consedering it's a war turtle in outer space.

Aaaaah! Ooooh!... it looks so wise, ancient, full of wisdom. That glow underneath, the yellow color, is WICKED. Making the feathered tips of it's fins look translucent like that was a good idea, and it's done very convincingly.
That's a nice background that you had made, too. The asteroid cluster belt was a splendid touch of creativity, this gives the picture something extra to feast your eyes on, even tho we know that the main attraction here is Chelonia.
I've made a starry sky like that before, I'd found a neat tutorial on it. That makes me think now, about why I haven't made another one after having only created one to see if I could or not, they're very cool. What is the vaporous substance there behind of Chelonia? I'm thinking that it's maybe some kind of nebula, but it also seems like the creature is emerging from the mist, too.

The turtle itself is completely awesome, especially the head. The background, however, isn't too great... But I don't blame you there. Drawing backgrounds sucks.
This is definitely being added to my favorites.
