In honour of to-day,

I present a dusted-off work in progress to which I have attached footnotes. There are a few convergent borders (I implore the help of one of the honourable members of this website for help giving Australia different internal borders), but I can justify spending no more time on this project ere the 5th of July comes upon us.

This map depicts a world where His Majesty's government made fewer errors in 1774, and a long war was forstalled. As such, the United States was never built. But this did not mean that there would be no calamities to beset the Empire in the years to come...
