Such an epic scene of the game...

It's been over a month since the game's release, I can post this spoiler... right?

For only five or six layers this took FOREVER, do in no small part to outright fear because I wanted it to somehow so much better than it actually did as epic as it was in the game.

The parts I like include Ezio's expression (though this should surprise no one, I'm in love with my own expressions...) and general proportions. I sometimes have a lot of trouble drawing two people in one piece and getting things like height right, but given I had a screencap open throughout almost the entire process it came out well.

I used two layers for the shading, and I think it was a hit for Ezio's face and a pass for Desmond. Ezio's shoulder guard (which Mirror can tell you I hemmed and hawed over for days) came out better than I thought and was a relatively simple trick. The glowing drove me nuts because I could find no, absolutely no tutorial or FAQ that satisfactorily explained to me how to do a glow effect. So I faked it and tentatively say that for just screwing around it came out okay.

I don't like Ezio's right eye, there's something off and crooked about it but no amount of fiddling could make me figure out what it is, and there's something wrong with his hood, too. It reads as too wide. Why...?
