Marvelous indeed! I have seen your other cosplay photos and I can say you have been an inspiration for my own Loki cosplay. Yet again, you have done something I desire to accomplish and I pray thee tell or give me some advice on how to accomplish the handcuffs. How did you make them? I would be most grateful for any advice you may give.

The cuffs were... interesting to design, to say the least. They're made from a combination of worbla (a thermoplastic) and two cookie cutters, believe it or not. I basically tried to break down the design into layers based on the photos I had to work with (ended up with seven, which fit perfectly on the width of the cookie cutters).
It's probably easier to show than tell, in this case. I have many, may WIP photos on both my tumblr and my Facebook pages, showing how I put them together, so I hope looking at those might be of some small service! And feel free to message me here or there if further explanations are warranted on my part. ^^

You will be so incredibly helpful in my own creation and I'd like to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I do have two questions if you do not mind. Is there a particular reason you went with Worbla instead of the foam and how much Worbla did it take you to make the two cuffs?

Don't mind in the slightest! Worbla, being plastic, is a lot sturdier, and given the intricacy of the cuffs, I think it keeps it shape better than foam--basically the same principle I went with when I made Loki's armour. I originally made a foam set, and then found that it started cracking under continued use, and I definitely do not have that problem now. And there's the added bonus that worbla basically sticks to itself, so I don't have to worry about glueing things in place so much.
As for the amount, I, erm, haven't been keeping track, exactly. I got an XL sheet recently, anticipating that I'd eventually use it all, and I've just been slowly eating away at it. But the cuffs have taken a fair amount, given that each layer within them is two layers of worbla. But a medium sheet would probably do it. (I'm also working on the neck and ankle shackles, so I need a lot more, heh.)

Thank you once again. I assumed that would be the reason and I had thought about Worbla or possibly a combination of Worbla and foam. This is my first time working with Worbla. Much like yourself, I decided early on that Loki's armour would benefit from the rigidity of the Worbla as opposed to the EVA foam. A challenge it was but I muddled through it. I have a bit left from that adventure but it is a possibility I will need to buy more and hence why I inquired. Many thanks for sharing your insight!

Imho your outfit looks better than the film version because it has several different textures, so it does not look so smooth and shiny and new; it has this sort of vintage quality to it. And the aging effect on the armour parts also looks more...authentic than in the film.
