My final look for her; Ayane's 'The Last' outfit, when she becomes the head of her clan. I purposely redrew her initial reference pose and headshot to see the improvements I've made! * v * )Would have included the wonderful outfit tsurugami had designed for her, but I lost the PSD for this when my HDD failed so couldn't make anymore changes! :'<

血遁, Ketsuton
Ketsuton, a hybrid chakra nature that allows the user to control blood. Users can freely control their own blood at will, but the ability to control a target's blood and circulatory system is restricted; the user has to first introduce some of their own blood into the target's venous system. The Mizuchi clan use their Kekkei Genkai exclusively for medicinal use; to stanch bleeding, redirect circulation, prevent haemorrhage etc, all to preserve the body and prevent exsanguination so that healing of the tissues can take place. Offensive ninjutsu are Hiden, taught only to clan members thought wise enough to not abuse their power. The misuse of offensive Ketsuton abilities helped contribute to the name Chigiri no Sato.
Especially skilled Ketsuton users are able to regenerate their own blood cells at an accelerated rate but this comes as a cost; if the ability is abused, the repeated and extensive proliferation of erythrocytes can eventually lead to leukaemia.
The legend of Mizuchi.
It is said that the founder of the Mizuchi clan, Agatamori was able to regenerate his own blood at an accelerated rate without consequence, and control the blood of any target without initial introduction of his own.
Agatamori lived hundreds of years ago, long before the founding of Kirigakure, and was taught Suiton by the great water serpent Mizuchi (蛟). When the serpent could teach Agatamori no more, he sent him away to travel the lands and grow as a man. However, when Agatamori developed Ketsuton the serpent grew jealous and bitter. Believing that he too should be able to use Ketsuton, he rampaged, killing many as he attempted the jutsu. Even so, he failed.
When Agatamori returned after many years he was horrified to find his former master had grown murderous in jealousy. He threw a gourd into the pool in which Mizuchi lived and told the serpent to sink it using Suiton. When the serpent was unable to sink the gourd Agatamori explained that, had the pool not been filled with both water and the blood of innocent men, the great Mizuchi - who surpassed himself in Suiton - would have been able to sink the gourd. But, because the pool had both water and blood, Agatamori was able to use both forces to counteract the serpent.
Mizuchi was enraged again and, though full of sadness and reluctance, Agatamori slew the serpent with his sword. In honour of his master - who was good had he not been corrupted by jealousy - he took the name 'Mizuchi' for his clan.
The Mizuchi clan symbol is meant to signify the shape of a gourd, and the blue and red is the coming together or blood and water.

An open-palmed strike to the chest infused with lightning chakra, which disrupts the regular sino-atrial rhythm of the heart, causing atrial fibrillation, and ultimately cardiac-arrest. Similarly, can be used to defibrillate a comrade in cardiac-arrest.
Weaknesses:
Effect can be counter-acted by someone with good control of lightning chakra (restarts normal heart rhythm), adequate medical ninjutsu, intracardiac epinephrine (adrenaline) injection, or adequate chest compression.

Description:
User attains control of their, or an ally’s, blood circulatory system. This can be used to, for example:
- Stunt blood flow to an injured area, stopping excessive external and internal bleeding.
- Redirect blood flow, e.g to muscles to increase oxygenation of these muscles, and therefore strength.
- Isolate poison to one part of the body, and expelling it through an open wound, or cutting off circulation to affected tissue and allowing it to die, to prevent spread.
- Channel blood flow over a vascular tear, to stop hemorrhaging of an artery or organ without compromising tissue health.
Ultimate Circulation Control (Kyūkyoku Kekkou Tousei), S-Rank:
- Simulate the entire circulatory system should the heart or body take excessive trauma.
Weakness:
Maintenance of the Jutsu constantly drains chakra. The amount of chakra needed to initiate and maintain the jutsu is proportionate to the amount of blood control required. Therefore, should the user be low on chakra, excessive control cannot be maintained, or can only be maintained for a short time but renders the user vulnerable and unable to use other jutsu lest they spend more chakra.
Random Facts:
- Uses Byakugō no In (under the tutelage of Tsunade) to amplify her own Kekkei Genkai jutsu; has no access to Ninpō Sōzō Saisei. Instead, she uses the chakra reserved to initiate and upkeep her clan's very chakra-demanding jutsu 'Ketsuton: Kyūkyoku Kekkou Tousei', allowing her to bypass Tsunade's laws that a medical-nin should not fight.
- Her father, head of the Mizuchi clan, is a defected refugee from the Hidden Mist. He married a Konoha Kunoichi.
- Can replenish her own blood and is a universal donor, so can do emergency transfusions on the field.
- The legend of Mizuchi is taken from Japanese folklore; the story of Agatamori no Omi and the Mizuchi dragon.
