Description
Was very undecisive with how to approach a darker plot version of XLR8's helmet. Then I decided that in Radiant War, Azmuth is the type who comes to grips with the reality that Ben's job is more combat oriented than he wishes it was so the Omnitrix has naturally more Combat adapted clothing. Notably for XLR8, the helmet has a more armored look, like Hazard gear for black ops soldiers or a futuristic sports mask designed to take high impacts and absorb force. The transparent visor simulates glass that is Orishan made, infused with taydenite for maximum safety to avoid the possibility of it shattering and going into the Kineceleran's eyes. It's more advanced than any other helmet made on Kinet.

Not that Kinecelerans usually need these visors, their eyes are covered with high density transparent naturally made contacts formed by their own bodies (why their pupils are not visible), but after a much concern from civilizan Kineceleran mothers regarding their children constantly going too fast and ramming into walls, the Kinet Face Shield/eye visor (Helen has one too, though she only showed it at the end of Alien Force Season 1) fashion was then born, not only taking the culture by storm, but revolutionizing "Running Safety" in the Kinet community.

(Note that while the thing about Helen's helmet having a visor IS canon to the classic timeline, the lore reason for helmets I made is not, it IS canon however that Orishans (Water Hazard's species) make the toughest glass in the known Ben 10 Universe).
