Yep, really proud of this one, because of the lighting and colors considering I did this entire thing with about a total of 15 verithin prismacolor pencils and a .1 pigma micron pen xD
title- because as I colored this Vermillion by slipknot came on and I realized the similarities between the song and the little story in my head about what is going on in the pic. Also because vermillion is a bright orangey-red color that I used a lot.
This also unintentionall reminds me of phantom of the opera lol
Critique would be loved, especially on the colors and lighting since I spent the most time and care on that. Mind, don't just tell something is wrong though, please tell me how to fix it. (Most likely I've already noticed most of the mistakes and have tried to fix them, but couldn't...like his small right hand..it was already inked when I noticed..) So yes, some good critique and suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Hmm..the only critique I can think of is that his right hand looks somewhat...bulky. It's beautiful otherwise.

i like what you've done with colored pencil here. lovely effect. the male however seems to have a somewhat longer chin then he should. i would take it down a couple of strokes but its good as stands.

hm, crits....the shading on the girls hair and on their skin doesnt seem to have a light source, i know there are several light sources, but i think darkening the areas farthest from the light would make it look better.

yeah, I was just having a lot of trouble trying to find areas farthest from a light source lol, in fact I ignored completely the fact that the two candles being behind the people would cast shadows of them on each other and still light up parts of both lol so I just kinda...went with it =/
