wee, I was bored and just doodled this and it turned out surprisingly awesome for a doodle. O.OThe shading and bg were done with a considerable amount of laziness so sorry if something is off

Awe, she is soooo gorgeous!!! You have improved your art so much it looks great. I love the dress's detail with all of the ruffles and the giant bow in the back is so cute. I lov how you colored her long hair too

thanks ^^ Did you ever notice you improve most after art blocks? I always find I improve gradually as I draw, but then if I have an art block for a while, when I start drawing again its like a huge spike of improvement.
Which is both cool and cruel considering how much everyone hates art blocks lol

lol yeah I know what you mean. sometimes that lazy cell shading really bothers me and sometimes it looks really cool.

i never took a 2-D class so i always see it amazing how 2-D artistis can do these types of work

thanks ^^ lol well, you don't need to take a class (I never did) if you want to be able to draw 2-D most artists start first copying things they see to train their eyes, and while they do that they read up on anatomy then start drawing for themselves. And then once you have the basics its like 3-D art, you just keep practicing xD
I don't get 3-D art at all, cept some sculpting I can't really make much 3-D..but then again I've never really tried
anyway, enough of my rambling and thanks again! ^^

oh don't get me wrong, I'm proud of it, just it only took me like 2 hours to do and its all cell shaded soo...its pretty simple..not a masterpiece lol

its funny how it kinda looks like the pic of you, the bangs, the dark hair, the dress...though her dress is cooler...sorry..dresses are easier to draw when the person isn't sitting

yeah pretty much, because in the middle of your drawing I was looking through pics of victorian dresses and saw one with really frilly sleeves and just kinda used that theme and had fun with it xD
