Been working on this between commissions-- it's still in the works, but I thought I'd post an update c:Decided to make her a melanistic Coyote-Red Wolf (unrealistically huge!) hybrid. :3
Name: Planchette
Name Origin/Meaning: French; "Little Board." (in reference to the triangle wooden piece used with Ouija boards.)
Sex: Female
Species: Melanistic Coyote-Red Wolf hybrid
Has a smooth, soft accent with a touch of southern.

She is so lovely ;; And super gorgeous with and without a mane. Red-tailed hawk feathers are so beautiful, and their colors go really well with the cooler tones of her fur. I adore the wheat and flowers in her tail (I'm very much loving the mixture of their colors against her fur here, as well) and her rosary-crucifix.
Her name is so nice too, and I think its relation to Ouija boards is really cool (B That combined with her rosary-crucifix gives me spirit/spiritual vibes, I love it ♥

Awh thank you so much, Friiha! <3 I wanted a simpler, tonal character so this is what I created. c: I wanted something that wasn't so bright and vibrant-- something more.. dark? for lack of a better term!
I come from a french town along the mississippi river, so there's a very interesting juxtaposition between the influences of cajun/creole lifestyle (including things like magic, spirit boards, etc.) and Christianity, and I wanted to project that through this character. c: This character reminds me of the uniqueness of my home.
