Well, we saw a lot of hints – I don't even talk about default P4, but PQ, P4A, P4 Golden Ending. For example... If you look at the new ending photo closely, you can see that Naoto is wearing a bullet necklace – Kanji's necklace! Sooo I like to think that they are canon. Let's wait until PQ2, there may be something new here x)

That’s super cute~ I’m looking forwards to seeing any new interactions with the characters in PQ2 (and all the others, I’ve only played the main game), but any ship hints would be even better :3
