ps. i love how the different parts of the picture are so different. (the bottom is like an old drawing, the right eye (the one on the left ha) is exposed in light and the left eye is concealed in shadow) this gives me a weird feeling, as if half your face were feeling one thing, and the other half something else.

It was a very spontaneous photo because I took it while I was just feeling rather...well you were quite right actually, at the moment I was in a bit of a situation that I didn't really know what to say. Silk I turned out well technically but since I didn't get much feeling out of it, I kept it just as an ID shot, but silk II ended up intriguing me more, much because of what you noticed too. =]

hasn't it ever occured to you, sometimes when you feel like you have nothing to say it is simply because you have to much to say? I think it's like going numb when you feel too much at once. that's what i thought when i looked at this picture.

I don't like the light on the left side of her lips, but other than that a beautiful photograph. the make-up is done very nicely.

Hm yeah, it was a pretty spontaneous photo and I did add the diffuse glow.
I didn't want it to be too sharp because I thought the slight softness of the photo would complement the "silk" title.
