Amazing! Simply amazing! The way its captured! Just amazing! Simply beautiful! To try to capture this simply amazing peace of art is to know beauty at its best! It's vision is just to epic for words to even describe if not even know what to say! It's originality isn't the best (there have been paintings of storms, but this one by far is the best). The impact on me is simply stunnning! Leonardo DaVinci could learn a thing or 2 from the painter of this magnificent piece of art! It's stunning technique is so stunning that I might have to invent a new word for it! Maybe the word supercalifragilisticespeallydoucius is to describe it!

It's very surprised me when I first saw it.
The perfect emotion that you can express through the brush strokes and colours are amazing.
I love the way you used black and all darker colours mixed into the warming bright colour like yellow and orange. It gives more impact and the feeling. I truly admire this work.
The composition is very well done. I like the way you chose the contrast colours. It's very professional and beautiful both in impression and painting skills.
Especially, I think the strong wave represents "life" and "obstacle" the sunlight through the dark clouds shows us the hope.

This painting hits hard!

The artist has pulled out almost all the stops on the colour; and there is a lot of energy, like the sea and clouds are a tightly coiled spring trapped in the canvas and straining to get out.

There is a little bit of uncertainty about the center of interest; is it the sun shining through those smouldering clouds, or is it the wave on the right? The whole painting has almost the same intensity, making it hard to pin down a single area to look at.

There is a circle composition here, following the curve of the waves up though the darkest clouds to the sun. At that point, though, we hit this patch of light blue sky.

This is the part that I think could be improved. The blue here does not make sense to me in the middle of such an intense yellow sky, and by replacing it with another dark cloud the circle composition would be complete. The eye flow would remain in the canvas rather than flying off the edge at that corner. I understand the need for some relief from the vivid colours of the rest of the sky, but carrying a little of the sea colours into the reflected light under the clouds (as he did on the left, I think) would do that equally well and help tie the painting together.

Overall, a powerful painting. The artist has a clear mastery of his technique; he know what to do with the paint to get his vision on canvas, and he does it with style. This is the kind of art that cameras can never supplant; this kind of vision is impossible to capture with a camera, it takes a human heart to see this.
