thats dude glad you like it modeling glasses is a good object to start with cos it not too box like and its got different materials and its also got little bits and pieces.

That's a pretty nice effect on the glas of these glasses. The lighting might need some tweaks, but all in all well done.

yeah i know but i share what i learn with those who stuggle generally tell them what to look up to improve their renders and such and the rest comes down to practise and trying stuff out, but being shown some things helps alot knowing what to look for. plus i get to have a piece of paper they says i know what im doing

Breath-taking!
How'd you achieve such a nice render. The model and refraction of the lens looks perfect

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

MishraFathom In reply to D-Ark-the-Random [2010-02-12 07:44:32 +0000 UTC]

well the materials need for the lenz was easy just used the maya shader for glass its has nice refraction so works well for lenzes. thanks glad you like it

D-Ark-the-Random In reply to MishraFathom [2010-02-12 15:01:44 +0000 UTC]

:3 Lol,I think max has a glass shader or maybe vray,but I haven't bothered to use it.This pic's a must have actually.

MishraFathom In reply to D-Ark-the-Random [2010-02-12 16:01:23 +0000 UTC]

yeah and using the glass shader is pretty easy just got to fiddle till you think it feel right lol

GenshiHebi [2009-04-18 17:26:23 +0000 UTC]

really nice!

one suggestion though, transparent glass doesn't cast solid shadows.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

MishraFathom In reply to GenshiHebi [2009-04-18 17:44:19 +0000 UTC]

yeah i know could not figure out how to fix that but i think i will just make that pace not ask a shadow or dint a way to make it work but for now its alight for my first one you should see the soom im working on not looking great just texturing it is a bitch.cos its all rotten and cracking and shit
