Description Concept of a light cruiser for Fading Suns RPG

This ship appeared in our campaing and I drew her upon request by our then-GM.
In 5002, the Beautiful Callista was a private cruiser of then-retired admiral Roger Pennworthy Hawkwood. Sixty years prior, during one of many Leminkainen-Aylon skirmishes, an aspiring Lt.Cdr Pennworthy managed to disable and board an Al-Malik light cruiser. Regardless of the ship, he also took her passengers prisoner, including Callista Al-Malik, daughter to an earl from Aylon.
Initiallty, Roger Pennworthy sent an emissary to propose a ransom for her. Until this one returned, however, another emissary was sent - to propose. Roger and Callista fell for each other and got married. And, he renamed the prize cruiser with her name.
They made a 'happily ever after' couple for many years. In 5002 Callista was long dead and Roger was wheelchair-bound, yet he retained a degree of sarcastic humour.
Roger Pennworthy provided the cruiser to our party, commanded by his grandson, Marus Horatio Pennworthy Hawkwood. She took our party in a diplomatic mission to Hargard.
The Callista was 210m long. She carried four medium grasers in bow and fourteen broadside, plus four heavy plasmas mounted in turrets around her aft section. She also had four torpedo tubes.

Drawn with pencil, then scanned & edited in MS Paint
