Told you it was going to be different. Pretty sure every one who has ever drawn Scooby stuff eventually does one of them actually solving a mystery, this is my take on it.ΒRelated content

Fred: Let's see all Tall, Dark and Spooky get by "this" Trap.
Velma: My Glasses! I cannot see anything without them! *pushes a secret switch on the Desk* What did I just touch?
Daphne: *Sees a Hole opening up underneath her* Jeepers!!
Shaggy: Scoob. Did you like, eat the cake batter out of this bowl?
Scooby: *shakes head while lifting front paws* Rah ah, Rot Re Rhaggy.
I can actually image them saying something among those lines.

Fred is in his element, look at that smug look on his face, I'm so happy for him! And here we have Danger Prone Velma, sorry Velms, no making fun of Daphne today, this one's on you, also, straps for glasses are a thing that exist. Shaggy and Scooby actually managed to find the kitchen as planned, Scooby managed to steal the food Shaggy was working on as planned, Shaggy will never learn. Also, Scooby is obviously innocent, just look at him. I love all of their expressions. Great job on the bricks. I love the detail on the stairs. The detail and lighting on the stained glass is really nice. Great job on the blurring for motion in panel 3.Β

Yep, just another normal run of the mill mystery for all of them. Also straps for glasses are super uncomfortable, they rub on your neck with the added bonus of making you look like a 60 year old librarian so I get why she doesn't use them. Though Id be better off with a tracking device for mine cos I never know where I put the dumb things. Then I'd probably lose the tracker too, unfortunately I am not very organised.

Also, I've never been comfortable with Shaggy and Scooby stealing food from castles, theft aside, they have no idea where that stuff had been!

They have cast iron guts, I'm sure the stuff could be mummified and they would still be fine.

This is so wonderful! What an amazing depiction of the gang doing their "classic" cliches haha. Though lasers aren't that classic. Absolutely love this.

Haha thanks for the comment and I am glad you liked it. Its got a lot more going on then my normal stuff but I figured it wouldn't hurt to shake it up once in a great while, variety is the spice of life after all right?
I figure this ones set somewhere in the middle of the mystery. After they've seen the monster, been chased and instructed to split up but before actually catching the guy.

By all means, shake things up as you feel so inspired to do so. Β I just think it's worth noting that you keep the feel to the images without making the viewer feel like they have seen them in the show before. Β
I agree ... Fred going overboard, Velma loosing her glasses (which I have done a number of times within less than five feet!), Daphne finding the trap door hidden in the creepy place, and Shag and Scoob finding the kitchen. Β

* Oh, poor Velma, she got troubles with her eyesight again because she accidentally dropped her glasses... I can imagine how she feels... quite awful.
* Heh, Daphne looks like she makes a martial art move or something when she falls down.

It feels like they are in a castle, but what kind of one, I wonder? (by architecture, I mean)

Haha don't apologise that was perfect. I have no idea what kind of castle it is though, probably an old one thats been turned into a hotel of some kind, it would explain the modern kitchen and give someone a reason to haunt it.
Also Fred has all those lasers because Fred NEEDS all the lasers, because lasers are cool and you can NEVER have enough lasers. 
He and Scooby seem to be the only ones having fun, but that's not strange. Lasers and food will have that effect on people.Β
