First I'd like to sincerely apologize for my CRAPTASTIC background. I wanted to go for "gritty rock show" but... I'm not sure that's what it exudes. Zut alors! :c My tablet decided to poop on me and stop working, and I didn't have time to fix it, so I had to do it all by mouse. This entry isn't due til Saturday but I'm going to be out of town all weekend with no internet so tonight was my last night to work on this. Ughh, stresss. D8
Anyway. I took the judges critique from last time and drew accordingly.
They want action pose and smiles? They... kind of got it! Uh. Yeah. X'D
In-character reflection time!
What did they think about the challenge? Did anything interesting happen while the cameras were capturing their essence?
Well, I must say, I had so much fun being the edgy rocker chick! Being all hardcore isn't really my style but it sure was a different experience. And to fit the part I was assigned, I listened to some rock music and watched a few concert performances. I wanted to jump up and smash the guitar like I saw some performers do for a real wild rocker girl moment! ... And then I did. The photographers weren't too into it, and they tooootally missed my fabulous jump shot. They were also pretty miffed I almost wrecked their prop guitar. (It was cheap plastic anyway, what's the big deal?) But then again, I also... uh... dropped the guitar after this shot as well. Oops! Haha! Overall, it was so fun to let loose for once and get in touch with my wild side!"

Pardon the pun, but you really rocked this round! Everything from your clothing choice, to your pose, lends perfectly to your theme. I’ll have to talk to your wardrobe manager, because I need a pair of those boots! The look you gave the camera is piercing into my soul, and I can’t look away. It screams “I’m going to rock your socks off”, and you did just that! Fantastic job this round!
(Artful critique: My only suggestion would be to spend a little more time on the background. Some kind of stage or equipment behind you could have sold the scene even more)

Oh Lady Lain you look absolutely stunning in this photo! I love love love the fact that you were able to come out of your shell and give us a photo that is completely reminiscent of the rock and roll legends! You just seem to be effortlessly dominating the stage and I swear I can almost hear the music.
I just can't stop staring at your makeup and hair, the way the light is hitting your hair is just so lively and fiery, and your eyes are so intense and focused. I am also absolutely loving the fact that you have the red back lighting, it just adds another level of interest to the photo.
I like how you kept the background simple, there are usually two directions a rock stage can go: simple or cluttered like there is no tomorrow.

Oh WOW, Miss lady Lain! You bring such an empowering presence to the stage! That extreme star quality and the overall look that you ARE a rock ghoul certainly holds true in this piece! Everything about this just works and breathes Rock and Roll.
Your body’s pose is just—well.. Dare I say “Rockin’”! 
Your look is everything rocker-chic. From your hair, to the tips of your fingers, to the bottoms of your shoes. I really admit I LOVE your hair here! It’s got a fiery quality about it. I love how the light and small bits of shadows only seem to further enhance your blonde locks of hair. I bet while you were working on the set and your hair was flying this way and that that it gave the illusion of fire!
I can actually hear Dragonforce’s “Through the Flames” while looking at this, which seems to work too well.
Your set background reminds me of one of those places where you go to an underground rockshow. Not too much really going on in the background, but the lighting is set on stage to the real star of the show. And that’s you. You’ve nailed this on so many levels. Brilliant work here!

Tsuki Yomi: Really? Oh, so sad that the guitar wasn't real. The violin I used was real, but unfortunately I couldn't play it well... I was terrible! so I just posed for the photo XD. I know, my father is sooooo old ¬¬ He needs to refresh his mind!

Tsuki: Wow! She is really old-fashioned! D= My father is a god (moon god) and he hates to said his age, but he still use that old kimonos that are so heavy and complicate to put on, that's why I use to modify and make up my own clothes.

I love how versatile you are in your pictures. You can change your look at a drop of a hat and you can make it work. It really looks like you enjoyed working with the guitar! I’m glad to see you’re holding it correctly! Though I bet you wanted to smash it over your head like a Rock-n-Roll rockstar. Oh wait—you did, you say? That’s awesome! You definitely have star quality!
Your hair looks like it’s on fire! I love it! The light that’s bouncing off of it gives it that extra sheen and glow that a fire tends to give off.

I can pretty much hear the cords that you are playing and the attitude that you’re giving us is incredible. This is one of my favorite photos. It seems like you just stepped out to do you guitar solo and just had a wild time with it.

Lady: Oh my, Miss Mariss, thank you so much! I had to be taught how to hold a guitar, haha! It helped to watch other rock stars performing too. I wish I'd taken up the offer for the over-the-shoulder straps though. Then I wouldn't have had to face the embarrassment of dropping it. But I'm glad the edginess I worked hard to show shined through. It was fun being center-stage, rockin' out!

I'm not all-for Monster High, in fact I see nothing that could interest me about it. (I hate high school shows, haha.) But this is a wonderful character, no matter how boring you say she is
