Hey guys, meet my Monster High OC, Lady Lain, the living porcelain doll. (Get it? porce-LAIN. I'm so clever. //shot) Hey, all the good monsters are taken.Uh, anyway... 8D I wanted to enter another fashion competition, this time hosted by *Oracle01 . (Journal here: [link] )
I thought it would be a great opportunity to play with her character a bit... She's very underdeveloped.

What type of personality do you have?
Well, gosh, I think I'm the sweetest gal I know! I'm confident, smart, graceful, elegant, drop-dead gorgeous, and totally modest. I think I'm, like, the most perfect doll around! Mm, but I think most people beg to differ. Some would say that I'm sassy, a little rude, and (I totally don't get this one) egotistical? I don't know what that's all about.
Why do you want to be The Next Top Monster?
Hello? Have you seen me? Haha, jokes! Now this is where it gets a little... personal. I want to show my dear, darling mother (a witch, if you were curious) that I'm not a total mess-up.
Would you like to participate in the "Comeback Call" should another ghoul drops out? It will grant you a second chance in the event someone drops out in the future.
Ahaha... as if I'd actually be voted off... but if such an event should occur, obviously I'd love the second chance!
I love snobby characters. They always have the most room for character development. ;u; I hope you guys like her anyway!

What lovely long lashes you have! They are beckoning me towards you, and I canβt stop myself!
That a-line dress is very flattering on you, and its simplicity works nicely. The only thing I would love to see more of are stars, since they seemed to fade away against the black fabric.

I love love love your pose! I don't know if you did it on porpoise, but I think that the broken doll type of pose was a perfect idea for you, but regardless I hope that you have a few tricks up your sleeve and don't use that pose type too terribly much, I'd love to see you in an action pose (or something spooky would be incredible as well~!) Normally I would want to say that looking off to the side as opposed to directly at the camera is a big fo paux but something in your gaze just commands attention.
Concerning your outfit I really like all of the little ruffles and details your designer added into your dress, I wish there were a few more stars to be honest though. By making them so faint and few and far between it comes across that your designer had an idea for a certain type of dress and the stars were tacked on at the end as an afterthought.

The way youβve got your hair styled in this photo is beyond amazing. The curls are a delicate touch and works incredibly well with your outfit. For as simple as the outfit and pose is, the elegance that you show is incredible.
Your eyes are have the ability to capture anotherβs soul. Genuine beauty from the start.
You were able to find your lights and your shadows incredibly well and make them work for you. The star theme is a soft haunt and is well placed for this simplistic model photo. I love it.

Simplistic, genuine beauty with a pose to match. Yes.. your pose is a basic one... but for you.. especially in this dress? I donβt think you could have gotten a better shot. I think the designer who dressed you did an incredibly brilliant job picking out a dress that highlights every part of you in a positive way.
Youβre able to keep things looking sassy-sheek, all while showing us a bit of skin to show off your beautiful monster uniqueness.
Oh my ghoul! Your eyes are positively haunting! I can't help but be drawn in to everything while looking at this photo.
And your hair is... great! This is... probably one of my favorite one of the bunch. You are a force to be reckoned with.

Jinafire? Yeah, she's pretty awesome, but have you seen the new girls? Daughters of the Genie and the Boogieman? They look like really bad customs in the pictures. I hope they're protoypes.

The Daughter of the Boogieman's design (her name is Twyla) is HORRENDOUS. Nothhing on her reminds you of a monster. I so hope that it is a protoype!
The Genie girl is slightly better, but still not one of the designs that you think "wow!", like with Jinafire or the new Power Ghouls.
