He's more like keeping her away from anyone and anything, literally. Except Edith. If Cristal strays off too far away from his liking, oh the protective mode is on.

Seems your little darling daughter has spotted something unusual on the Savannah. You turn at her question and notice something white among the grasslands. What is that? You squint your eyes and realize its a Legendary Albino Meerkat! What a discovery!!!
• Sneak up closer to watch it. (Stealth)
• Stamp your hooves, it might not be friendly (Defense)

Looks like someone dropped some goodies. Oooh you found 2x Bottled Wish in the sand!!!

Oh no, poor little Cristal wasn't paying attention and she stumbled into a patch of thorns. They catch at her mane and tail and she can't move without being poked. She needs her daddy to help her.
• Pick her up out of the patch (Strength)
• Tear the thorn bushes apart to free her (Strength)
• Stamp them down, keeping them from hurting her (Strength)
Guarded Treasure | Tier 2
Cristal is a curious thing, and she noticed something shiny. She goes to get a closer look when it moves. Curious she follows it until she comes to a small burrow, just large enough for a very young foal to partially squeeze into. She looks inside and sees a huge pile of goodies and an Uncommon Meerkat is guarding it.
• Run in and grab something (Speed)
• Chase the Meerkat away, this is your stuff now (Speed)
• Talk to the Meerkat and see if he'll be friends and share (Strength)
