Description Yoshi's are a unique species of lizard. they appear, for the most part, to be asexual. Every yoshi has the ability to lay eggs. The process for which they produce these eggs is remarkable to say the least.

When a yoshi catches it's pray with it's tongue (similar to that of a chameleon), after digestion, which can be instantaneous in some cases, an egg is produced.

Some researches believe that this process is a defense mechanism for protecting their young. hiding their true eggs among their excrement.
