Well, there are other people copying art somewhere in the world..nothing to do about it..if you want to copy art and not at least give the source of what inspired you, then have that attitude if you want..

I'm just going to state my opinion on the situation again in a calm manner, so I apologize if I offend anyone in advance:
Don't try to blame the entire brony fandom for this little falme war since I've seen it happen in other fandoms as well.
I'm not going to bother asking for her to put the reference anymore since it's obvious that she doesn't care too much to fix the situation maturely, but please understand that people don't find it right for this image that might possibly be referenced to *CuTTyCommando 's drawing becuse this one got more views the "original" despite it being around a little while longer.
I would be extremely offended if my own fan art got referenced without credit if it bears extreme resemblance to another one. In fact, it happened to my best friend!! That is the only reason why I'm "hating" on Mixi by kindly asking her to reference back or talk to the other artist to clear things up.
Yes, it's possible that both images used popular poses & characters, but the fact that it looks similar to each other & caused this confusion means that one artist might be accused of tracing.
It sucks that Mixi got the bad end of the deal, but can you blame her? She seems like a decent individual with great talent! I don't follow either artist & really don't plan to, but I do feel like a little acknowldemetn to tyhe other drawing by saying in the info "I did not trace [link] , but there's the link anyway to shut you guys up" is better than letting all the name calling continue to happen by her fans against an entire fandom.

Along time ago I made a luna painting yes? and it was for a school assignment so, the only source to find images at school was google images and no where else so i dunno what art piece belongs to who so, I sketched up two luna sketches and used the other for the painting and thought the sketch for this piece that everyone is going crazy about lol, So if anything, I didn't trace, or copy, I just simply found an art piece on google for a luna reference and used the pose.
