History:

Frankly, Datev didn’t know his father, nor care where he is now. His father was an elf, and his mother is a human, but when she was pregnant with Datev, his father left her and they haven’t seen him since. Most of the time, he will deny that he's half elf [Which isn't too hard since he doesn't show many elf-like qualities; although he does have faint markings on his back that are similar to the ones on his father, however he doesn't know the similarity], solely based on the reason he doesn't believe his father...is his father.

Because they were poor and had no where to go, when Datev was little his mother trained him to be an expert in thieving, as she had to train herself as well. Although he made a lot mistakes, he was rarely caught. And when he is, he usually can find a way to weasel out of the situation. It was all he could do to keep food on the table for his mother. Afterall no one was left to care after her.

Ever since he was able to read and learn, he’s always had the dream of joining the royal army, and travelling to all sorts of distant lands. He always wanted to fight beside the leader of Vaniliya, but was soon drained of his dreams when his mother taught him of their situation. But, recently, he has proved her wrong by becoming a Cavalier for the King's army [Although the circumstances were a bit sketchy] and is glad that he can take care of her properly now.

From his infant days to now, he is still preoccupied with his curiousity, if you feed him the tiniest bit of information he'll do anything he can to find out more of the subject and become a pro at it. Also, he developed his insatiable taste for white peaches from when he was little, and his mother used to always bring them back when she went out to fetch some scraps to eat. He will do anything for a white peach or two. However, he doesn't necessarily like regular peaches, mostly just white peaches - but he will take anything peach usually. He hopes to one day settle down once he's proven himself by being a great cavalier.
