Description
This is my redesign of an old fansona I never published and finally settled on a design I was super comfortable with! I'm still perfecting some of her story, but here's more of a brief summary of her character!

Opal spent a lot of her life with an interest in biology and experimentation. Whether it was using inhuman methods to better the improvement of people and making them amazing, she had no limit to what she would do if it got her to her goal. She was a ruthless student and manipulated her few classmates when it benefited her, including when it came to not sharing grading schemes when she was the only one present in her forensic sciences class, in order to stand out with the best grade in her class. Everything had to be perfect, including her experiments for her grade. Her obsession stretched to her accidentally getting heated benzoic solution on her hands and burning herself, and despite that insisting on finishing her experiment even when her burns later became infected and spread further up her arms. She was left with heavy nerve damage in both arms, but later found it helpful in not being able to have issues of spillage in her later and more dangerous work.
The only people she ever admired was her laboratory mentor and the police officer that regularly shared lunch with her while on breaks. At this point, she became a qualified forensic specialist, and was used to presenting her findings in court.
Her sins include wrath to an endless extent. She held a deep hatred to her core for the defence lawyers that tried to discredit her work. She was less concerned about convicting dangerous people and more concerned about ensuring she was right. The first time she expressed her wrath was after a court case fell through on a murderer. She was morally central and had little opinions on killing others.
Using the confidential knowledge about the case, she found the murderer she knew for a fact was guilty at his own home, ensuring he was dead and using her forensic knowledge to cover her tracks.
However, she quickly became involved in more crime. She made much more money in providing medical care for gangsters that had her not asking questions, while the police officer she began dating noticed her absence both at work and whenever they arranged a date.

She doesn't like sharing her childhood as she resents so much of it. Opal wasn't mistreated by her parents or peers, but a constant feeling of wanting to be better than everyone and easily angered to the point of physically attacked classmates. The only thing she ever truly loved as a child was a pet snake her mother bought for her birthday, as she was notoriously a tomboy and had a phase of reptilian passions. She thought he was so beautiful, and yet so deadly in nature. Opal seemed to lose more of a sense of empathy and compassion the day her snake (Noodle) passed away after twenty years together.

Opal died due to multiple gunshots to her torso in a standoff with police in the middle of trying to finish a first aid job for a gang leader. One of the officers in the fire fight was actually the one she was dating and couldn't bring herself to shoot at before she was vulnerable enough to be mowed down where she stood.
Being traumatised from her memory of her death, she often over prepares herself in her business set up in Hell soon after she discovered where she was. Whether it's torture, medical care (As long as there's payment involved) or even cannibalistic preparation of a person, she doesn't discriminate in the services at her disposal for a high cost, as her work is so quality.
