Description Well, this is my first take at making a tutorial...so here goes nothing!

1.) Starting with the pattern pic, this is what I used for the base of the bag. Simplicity pattern 2350 bag B. I pretty much sewed the bag using the instructions from the pattern, it is even lined.

2.) The pattern called for grommets, 10 around the top. I found some grommets, size 3/4 inch and in Antique Brass. I also added 32 grommets around the bottom. These were 1/4 inch in size and in the same color. Cording for the top of the bag was easy, but cording for the smaller grommets was a little time consuming. I was afraid I wouldn't have enough cording to go all the way around, so I cut out the pieces that I would need and hand sewed them to the bag....uggg

3.) The shoulder strap was made from some leftover material from the Katara water bag. Pretty easy. Just make it however wide and long you would like it.

4.) The flap was made using a drawn pattern, used a zigzag stitch around the edges, and sewn to the top back of the bag. The small strip of brown material is the same as the shoulder strap and the belt buckle was just slid on to it.

And....last pic....you should now have a Toph bag!!

I hope this helps and if ya'll have any questions, please feel free to ask!

Hope ya enjoy!
