Ok, I'm bookmarking this so that whenever I think I've written something good, I can go back, re-read this and I'll be humbled again and reminded of what good writing really looks like. Well done.

I'm the same. I tend to prefer writing things down on paper over typing it up.

I know! And the bright white of the document hurts my eyes far more than the white of a notebook's pages.

That's awesome! I'm all for shopping for office supplies. It's very exciting and it makes you feel like you're getting stuff done. May your mighty pen and paper serve you well in your artistic endeavors.Β
A part of me wanted to upload the image in some form but I didn't want to put any reader through the horror of reading through my handwriting. When I'm writing for the long haul, my writing can become quite illegible where my a's, o's, and u's become indistinguishable from one another and the end of words peter out into lines of oblivion. Everyone who has sat down to read my handwritten work has brought this to my attention (some more impolitely than others).Β

Agreed.
It's such a romantic writing instrument though it tends to leave ink stains and make your fingers cramp after extended use. But that's just beautiful pain for the sake of art.
