Got inspired by the latest episode of Doctor Who, Asylum of the Daleks. Oswin and her predicament broke my heart. ;--;Worked on this alllll dayyy so glad it's done.
Ive really missed Doctor Who. It's so nice to have it back in my life again. :3

Hi! I have a couple critiques. Constructive critiques. I'm just saying this because I don't think that anyone else has, browsing through the comments. 
Basically, what you have right now uses 3 colors. Orange is the background/negative color, and Black is the positive color, while white is kind of... just there. The shape created by the white does not add to the picture, in my opinion. I think if you instead made Oswin's body either entirely white or orange on the black dalek body (without the white sticker-style outline!) then it would be a stronger image compositionally.
Of course, if you wanted it to look like a sticker from the start, that would make sense too. Maybe it could represent how she was simply placed inside the dalek against her will and couldn't do anything about it? Hmm. That could also work? I still feel like it cheapens the really pretty silhouette you made.
Also, did you choose that shade of orange just because you like it? Or did you have a deeper meaning (not that one is necessary at all)? I associate Oswin with the shade of red she was wearing in her episode, but I wonder if it's too dark to look good in this sort of picture. That or the grayish silverish goldish dalek colors. Also Hmm.
I'm not any sort of professional anything, so what I just said could be total bupkis, but I felt like saying it anyways because I think that this is a really great piece and I want it to be even better. Even if you disagree, I don't care. It's enough that you bothered to read this~!
So yeah. Overall it's a great piece of art. Very good job. I like it a lot. (I only ever give detailed critiques when I really like something a lot, I swear!)

I did aim for a more graphic-design-ish feel, kinda like a sticker. This is the first time I've also done something so... un-detailed as well. I understand that the white and the black don't really work together - should the whole Dalek be black and just her inside be white? Would it work better that way?
I chose the orange because the whole feel of the episode was very... Orange. Looking back I realize I should've used red or another color more associated with Oswin, but my first impressions from the episode were "Oh wow look at all that orange-brown cinematography."
This critique has made me see some problems with this piece that I havn't before -- huge HUGE thank you!!

Thank you! Haha, actually, trying to make people cry was one of my aims. I wanted to show the terrible predicament of Oswin at the end of the episode - she was stuck in a physical form that was capable of only destruction, but in all that, on the inside she was still human. (Holy crap that turned out really deep woah I am a flipping poet)
