wow, i love the way your lines all flow and emphasize the curled up posture. the spine is great, kind of alarming with that hole at the sacrum, like it has some emotional meaning...same with the wiggly upper spine. and i like the foot wrinkles!

do you use live models for your arts like this or photo/magazine reference? about how long does it take for you to complete one of these?

um yeah, the works about isolation from class are done from a model. I can usually get one done, in one class (3 hours). sometimes it takes a bit longer if i hold off on the watercolor and do other sketches for future pictures. all in all its not too time consuming because of the modest size.......thats all going to change when i get that projector though!

wow...in my classes we cant get the model to sit still for that long (or any given amount of time for that matter) while we draw. i think 18x24 is about the perfect size for most stuff. it will be interesting to see the stuff you come up with on the projector...cant wait to see it.
