Inspired by the music video "I'll Follow You Into the Dark" by Deathcab for CutieWatch for the little frame of bunnies where one's protecting the other from the rain. ='D
And in case anyone is confused, her arms are wrapped around him, underneath his jacket. Heh.

Accept this at your discretion, I've had a horrid weekend and I'm coming down sick, so my people skills sorta suck right now.... I just didn't wanna leave you hangin 
Anyway, it's a pretty stiff image, with profile angles and vertical alignments.
Expand beyond your side facing figures and this would improve greatly. When hugging, people incline faces in a variety of ways, and so this will give more personality to characters. Get inside their heads and let us really understand what you want us to. So far I feel as if I'm only seeing half of the story.
Anatomy wise, I can't say much, profile views mean you're covering up most things with a flat image. The male's shoulder may be forward a bit too far but I'm unsure due to his jacket.
And finally, rain is coming on too strong visually, yet they don't act as if it's there. He isn't squinting, and it's belting him in the face. Since we can't see anything through the rain it looks like a torrent of omg badness. It's blowing diagonally into vertical figures who aren't bending into it or anything, so they suggest that it isn't very strong.... so this is a miscommunication for me.

Yeah... I didn't really think about it too much... but this will definitely help me in the future when I DO want to do something more memorable. Like I said, it was a sketch, I would have liked to have had a better image to critique, but nonetheless there are things to learn.
As long as there's nothing blatantly wrong that you can see, I'll count that as good. 
But as for his shoulder, I'm... not sure. I guess it's forward more because he's reaching out?
Yeah... the background was a lazy blah thing, but it wouldn't have been hard to make it less opaque and draw a different lazy blah background of an actual setting. I think I just was having an "ohh! pretty colors" moment. I actually need to practice my backgrounds.
