Description This image was created using Ultra Fractal for an exhibition in the UK. The idea behind this image was to create something that associated fractal mathematics with nature.

This image represents the way in which plants use Fibonacci numbers and spirals as they grow and gracefully unfold their leaves, each one spreading out to find enough space for sunlight. Finding particular inspiration from spring growth, I coloured the innermost part of the flower a vivid pink to contrast with the dark green, whereas the white and light green outer areas where chosen to represent the younger growth that has not yet taken on full colour.

Featured your beautiful fractal: Is Today Too Early?Today. What will I do today that I postponed yesterday, and all the days before that? What do we find brings us lasting joy? Is it what we're given, or what we've done with it, that makes for fulfilment? What will I postpone today, because it's not truly important, in looking back, as things I think I have no time for, because I fail to make time for what actually does matter? This is what we forget most as we scramble frantically through life, and sometimes--no, on a regular basis--we need to slow down and take stock, rearrange our priorities, and reorient our steps in the proper direction. After today's feature, I'll do two more this size, then switch to less frequent ones with more works by the same artist, in order to devote more time to creating art, than collecting and sharing others. I'm also attempting to lose weight, so I'll be sharing that progress in the "Poll" section. As always, enjoy the wonderful art and music video at the end, God bless you all, and thank you so Have a blessed day! -Debra

Gentle coloration which goes beautifully with the thought and intention. Lots of details and the TIA never looked better. This certainly fulfills the requirements for the exhibit.

I was wondering who else was asked to submit images for the exhibition and now I know one more.

This is what the best of fractal art should be - your thoughtful choice of colors, the exquisite use of formula(e) and an outstanding crop. Congratulations!

Sublime. As always, this image is amazing. The texturing you achieved in the TIA is astonishing as is the subtle color shift in the veins/stems.

Beautiful.

It has a little bit of a watercolor texture in the green, leafy, areas but nicely sharp detail for those pinks and whites.

This reminds me a great deal of winter cabbage.
