Description
This pigeon fell out of its nest and was injured. We took care of it inside until it got strong enough to go outside. We had a chicken at the time so we put the pigeon outside to eat with her. They became very close. At night the chicken would lay on the pigeon to keep it warm as if it was its own chick. The pigeon had no idea it could fly or that it was a pigeon. They used to spend all day just wandering the yard picking bugs out of the grass together. Then one day the pigeon saw other pigeons....and flew away.....I was happy for the pigeon but sad for my chicken!
