Candy! You're back! at least temporarily...
I can't say what college it is, because that wouldn't be very safe to do online, but let's just say it's somewhere in the West. It's a small liberal arts school with good academics.

My typer freezes! but try dreaming some sounds that are with real life sounds too. That will help, since I did and ended up somehow getting my head hit once when sleeping and still can't tell how, but it was just a thud in my dream too.

That would be awesome.
Thanks!
I would say that college is a little better than high school, but not as much as it's often advertised (at least for me). For the first two years, you have a lot of required classes, so not all the coursework is very fun. I would say that the biggest difference is that time management skills are much more important in college: you spend less time in class, but you get more homework.

Oh man I'm so sorry to hear that you're having noise issues! D:
My friend has the same problem.
Luckily I chose this quiet alcohol-free dorm off in the woods far away from where the parties are held pft.
Best of luck with finding a new roomie!

I have to report my neighbors to the police (seriously, a stereo boombox at 1 am is a friggin noise violation)

Ugh. Β That stinks, dear. Β /hug/ Β Luckily my roommates and I are all sorted but I know what it's like trying to figure life out the first couple weeks... Β Good luck! Β And feel better soon!
You should be okay with two fans. Β It's already getting cold again, after all.

I completely know how you feel. The smallest sounds wake me up, so when I had to stay in a hotel room with my family, that was just... awful. My dad snores really loud, and then my brother would stay up late and mess with his phone.Β It's like even a door opening wakes me up.
I hope this works out better for you and that you get better soon!

Hm, no. Right now I don't even HAVE a doctor since we just moved to another state far away from home (2300 miles away from home. . .)
