Thanks And nope! I actually failed college and dropped out after a year. I learned everything I knew for my first job through friends and the polycount.com community

I am asking you this because I just finished highschool and couldn't afford going to college, and now I have no job (yet (I hope ) )) so I am just learning to use zbrush, photoshop, after effects and so on by my own (thx to the mighty internet), wishing that someday one of this could be my job.
I was just curious if a diploma is required for a job like this.
I still think thought that chances are really really small but I love art and I cant help it.
I'm getting boring .. thanks for information

It's all about your portfolio, not a degree. If you make awesome work, then you'll get a job!
