Holy cow did I actually color one of my drawings for the very first time on Photoshop?!
lol Anyway, these two lovely characters names are Tack the Cobbler and Princess Yum Yum. They're both from the movie 'The Thief and the Cobbler' and may I tell you that this is such a great movie? Well, IT IS! I remember watching the movie when I was a little girl, and I absolutely loved Tack, and I thought Princess Yum Yum was so beautiful. When I found out that there was actually fan art of them on here and the movie on youtube, I just had to draw a picture of the both of them together!

I recommend this movie to everyone and you guys, because this movie will remind you of Disney's Aladdin. Seriously, go watch it. It's AWESOME!!! 
...This took me probably over a week to draw the picture, acouple of days to draw this, and I just shaded this today. I am actually really proud with how the shading turned out

WOW that was the first thing u colored in photoshop damn!
I love that you drew these to. princess yum yum and tack. i feel like they are so obscure. i feel lyk the love story may not have been original...but the rest of the plot was and so SO much of how it looked visually was amazing. it really was trippy on the eyes...and i love that you did tacks smile, and i like and u did such a good job on the transparency of her vail!

definatley it reminded me of aladdin as well. but the rest of the story was very different which was great. i remember seeing it as a child once and never seeing it again, sumtime this past year, i found it on amazon and bought the SHIt OUT OF IT!!!

of Yumyum and I said to myself, "They, this chick looks familiar."
And so I read the artist's comments and found out the name
of the movie, looked it up on youtube, and then I watched
the whole thing and fell in love with it all over again!

you should try and get the dvd it was super cheap cuz no one has heard of it..cuz the dvd qualty is suprisingly really good and does the movies color alot of justice. i love color and surrealsim so i think that...that movie really had that to offer.
disney is always magical. and aladdin is one of my top fave ones actually, but they were so different and plus i think mathew broderack as tacks voices was more then precious!

You know, I'm taking a history of animation class and this was one of the films mentioned in the lecture (it was by a Brit named Richard Williams who's been doing animation since the late 50's and is a brilliant designer). I remember hearing about the movie when I was a kid but never got the chance to see it. I only saw the 1st psrt of it on YouTube, which I faved so I'll definately watch the rest when I get a chance because it looks awesome! And so does this!
