Description Took me 15 years to do it, but do it I did!

Wasn't as terrifying as I thought it would be, apart from the final seconds where they pull the cable car into the docking area. Everything goes slow and silent and it feels like you're about to fall off the mountain.

Also discovered I get altitude sickness pretty easily. Bah.

I was disappointed at first that it was so so foggy..but actually I think it made the experience way cooler...well, literally and figuratively.

Yeah I can imagine, my memory of the experience is that it was very ghostly, haunting, cold and beautiful, and I don't even think it was foggy for us so that would've made it even better.

I also remember the sky being a very deep, dark blue, dunno if all this is just nostalgia playing tricks on me. It was definitely the first time I felt the sensation of something being spooky and beautiful at the same time, but of course I wouldn't have been able to properly comprehend that and put it into words at the time.
