Katsa and Po from Kristen Cashore's 'Graceling'.

Katsa was fairly straightforward for me. I kept her hair short since part way through the book she cuts it. I think it's supposed to be even shorter but hey.

Po was a more of a challenge because Leinid's are supposed to look a bit different than people from the other kingdoms. They're described as having a 'distinctive dark haired look', and he's continuously mentioned to have tanned skin. But that left a lot open. I think he kinda ended up looking like Aladdin.

Anyways, I enjoyed drawing it. And I really, really, love how their skin tones turned out with my colored pencils.
