Hello! I've been working on a fairly large cross stitch lately, but it's been so hot lately that I've been having trouble working on it. Because of that, I've gotten back to stitching some sprites from the strategy guide I've got for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon with this shiny Drifloon! It's a cute Pokemon, and, more importantly, it fit on a small piece of fabric, so stitching this was great.Drifloon was stitched on 14-count gray Aida with all manner of embroidery floss.

Thank you! There are a lot of shinies I don't like, too, but I'd wanted to make one, so I dug around on Google image search until I found a cool one that I had most of the floss already out for. XD

Cute. I haven't touch any cross stitching either!! I thought I was going to die yesterday! We Canadians are not use to those hot temps!!!

Oh, I'm used to the hot temps in short bursts, but as long as this has gone on, it's really tiring! Hopefully, this is the tail end of it.

It is suppose to still be pretty hot up here for the week again-- lots of storms could pass us too finally-- haven't seen any rain in a couple weeks now.

We have about the same forecast, though it looks like it could rain here tonight. We've been having trouble with that, too, though! Our yard is crunchy and brown, and though I don't have to mow it, it's still depressing to look at.

Well, we don't really have too much grass, and since we have a non-motorized mower, it's not that bad to mow it, either, though I'm not sorry to not have to do it during this weather.

I mostly made this one shiny because I didn't want to use purple floss very much that day. XD It was fun, though- Drifloon's shiny color scheme is a lot better than some of them!
