Description I did this pattern, from the Super Mario All-Stars Mario 1 sprite, about a week and a half ago, making an afternoon of it. Other than the slight problems with shading on the skin tone, I like how it turned out, and hope that you guys do, too! o^^.o

That's nuts, I completely forgot that was always her name They all of a sudden changed her name to Peach, I got super-confused, and my brain popped. Oh Princess Toadstool

I know! When I played Mario 64 for the first time and she signs the letter as Peach, I remember being actively irritated by it. I don't actually care one way or the other now, though. It's sort of weird.

I like how you used her "old-school" name of "Toadstool!" Well done--as always!

Thank you! I know it's Peach, but it seems so sad to call her that when it's Mario 2! I grew up with her being Toadstool, so that's what she gets to be called here. o^^.o

At the risk of "dating" myself, I grew up knowing her as "Princess Toadstool" also. I can understand the "marketing" reasons for changing her name to Peach. Still...

Hope University life is treating you well!

Ah, it's going all right so far! I have one creative writing class that's considerably less than fun, but everything else is very spiffy!

Well, it's not harder, as long as there's good lighting, but I have really cheap black fabric, so it's stiff and hard to get the needle through on half stitches. I'm doing a pattern from a book on the black now, with a fairy silohuette and lots of floral borders, and am not thinking it was my best idea. If you have the kind that costs more than a dollar fifty a package, though, I imagine it would be much easier.

ah.. I know what that feels.. I ended up with 2 yards of yellow fabric 'cause it was cheaper ($0.50 a yard) .. it's the stiff kind too.. I'm still not sure what to do with it, I just bought it 'cause it was cheap xD
