Well, this is Jack Swift from the book The Warrior Heir by Cinda Williams Chima, or at least what I think he would look like. If you haven't read it, you really should, and as my friend, Rayne, would say: YOU HAVE NOT LIVED UNTIL YOU READ THIS BOOK. (Yea, that was actually said for the Final Fantasy Versus XIII trailer). Anyway, if you're wondering why it says "A.K.A K-Swift" in the title, well, that's an inside joke...~Outlined in black Pilot pen and colored with Derwent Watercolor Pencils~

This is amazing! Your friend is right, if you have not read this book, then you have not lived. Definitely one of the best books ever in my opinion.

I just finished this book. I LOVED IT! This is the best book I've probably ever read! And this is a great drawing of Jack! Hey, xderangedhermitx, tell your mom, she is my favorite author now! ^_^

Aqh, I can't wait till the Dragon heir comes out this spring. I'll read around 500 pages in a day and a half only stopping to eat. I'm enchanted by the books in the series. Oh, but your art.... It's great I imagined his har breing a bit like Gene's of of outlaw star with blonde streaks. Still, I shouldn't crititcize. I suck at art, and especially color.

i'm pretty sure i read the wisard hier in two or was it the other way around? oh by the way throughout the second book (wisard heir) well there just wasn't enough jack and ellen in it and well in the third one (dragon heir) i hope they go back to being the main cherictores. in this book. i really hope they all get togather for the big "showdown" too, i think it would be cool if
Jack's mom found jack's wier book and asks him about it oh man that would be good or him turn up mortaly wounded or something. call me emo if you want but somebody better get beat up or mortaly wounded or something adds alot of i don't know it just add's to the storie.

I always thought of him with red hair. *laughs* Its funny how different readers will imagine characters different ways. Even with my different view on Jack, this pic is still amazing! The eyes tell us everything. He has that dark, painful expression on him, which you captured perfectly. Its like he's resigned to his fate. Great job! This pic has to go into my favs!

I randomly found this book at the bookstore and grabbed it 'cause it looked cool and I wanted to get something that day. But whenever I think a book looks cool, it ends up turning out as crap, so I expected it to be crap when I started reading it. But I was TOTALLY HOOKED!!!!

hey, what's up. This is Cinda Chima's son Keith, and she found your drawing and thought it was cool and sent it to me and my brother. I just thought it was pretty cool. I like the website, i'm a big fan of final fantasy and that kinda thing...actually playing FFXII atm. Kingdom Hearts too. The sequel to the Warrior Heir, the Wizard Heir, comes out May 1st, and the Dragon Heir will be out next year. I think you'll love the Wizard Heir, it's about a new character named Seph (short for Joseph) but Jack and all the old characters play a big role. Keep up the good work!

Wow, thank u so much! My friend and I are dying for the Wizard Heir to come out already. She found the Warrior Heir at Borders 2 weeks ago and lent it to me the day right after she read the entire book (she didn't want to let go of it since it was Spring Break afterwards and that meant a whole week without it), and she almost killed me cuz I wouldn't return it, but then I got my own copy eventually and absolutely LOVE it! I just had to draw Jack
