Description
Stegosaurus Ungulatus is really underrated and not many people give attention to it, unlike its more famous Stegosaurus stenops, ungulatus reminds me of the older depictions of stegosaurus, retro proportions while stenops reminds me of the dinosaur renaissance, slender,agile,smaller.
Apparently stegosaurus ungulatus (especially YPM 1863) had bony studs on the side of the legs, likely for protection.
It also had throat ossicles (large scales) covering the underside of the throat.
