one of my early works,i found it recently while i was cleaning up the house.this is a 1980 Nissan Skyline Ht2000GT sedan i drew after a friend of mine showed it to me on an Import tuner issue last year,it's been tricked out with a lot of old school parts like the huge side flares,the upward exhaust and some very wide rims.this car was known as Japan's first turbocharged production car although it was a dud at first because of the fact that the Turbo 6 didn't use a Intercooler nor Fuel Injection and it was less powerful than the Aspirated model,i used the Bosozoku style cars from the 1980's as a reference since i liked their styleRelated content

I remember seeing a few of these Nissans as a kid (obviously in more civilian-style attire).

Yeah. That's a thought. Right now i think it is sandwiched between two sheets of acid free paper in a box.

thanks,it came a long way since this sedan was made and without it,the Nissan Skyline wouldn't have the Turbo 6 cylinders it became famous of)except the DR30 which had a Turbo 4 )

I have a friend totally obsessed with Nissans, especially Skylines. (He actually takes it too far, though. IN his mind Nissans are the be all end all car and every other car company on the face of the planet should just go out of business and everyone in the world just drive the GTR)

Yeah, and he's the biggest I ever seen. It's cool he's so passionate but he's so pushy about it that it becomes a real buzzkill. He meets me at work aith a magazine about this guy with two generations of GTRs and goes on and on about how he hates the guy. I know Camaro people and Mustang people like that, too, but I never met anyone near as bad.
