yeah the beginning of the game is especially grindy and hard haha, them zombies suck

I didn't beat earthbound cause it got soft locked SOMEHOW and I was like... I'm done... I didn't have paula die to a tree that explodes for somereason a million times to just restart CX (I really hated the characters starting at level 1 everytime...) and Mother 3 my friend is playing so he's got that down.

Yeah the characters starting that low of a level was annoying. I BELIEVE they fixed that in Mother 3 a little but I can't remember for sure.
I mean that game is paced better overall anyway

yea, I'm more interested in mother 1 compared to the others, but theres not getting aroudn that M3 is the most well made in the series

that actually makes me happy though because Mother 1 doesn't get enough love. I still like 3 more overall but 1 has a special place for me

Yea I agree... BUT I do understand those who think the mother 1 isn't the best thing in the world (despite really wanting it) starman.net kinda said such. The opinion from someone like them is... if your gonna import something from japan, import something like sweet home instead. While I like it cause its what mother does but I like it best there whether or not it can be considered the best its done. And your talking about giegue right? CX Yes I love giegue as well c: wish nintendo itoi did more stuff with him... all we got was the very meh sprite of him and thats it... also what a poor soul. His story is actually really sad

yea it's difficult for some to get into. the game hasn't aged very well haha
and YES. he is the best noodley alien.
yea it's a shame they didn't do more with him but for the brief time spent with him he was still the most interesting character in the game imo
