I don't know if there would be a new album sorry. But, I don't know if it's just me but it seems that all SOAD members but Serj seem ready to restart SOAD. Maybe it's just an impression.

Yeah unfortunately. I love Serj's solo work too but at the same time I would love for them to get back together.
I think he's just enjoying having full creative control over his music probably. I know I would.

I'm not surprised you haven't heard of them XD;; They've been around since 2008, but they didn't bring out an album until August of this year~
They a British Alternative Rock/'Art Rock' band that balance out epic guitar rocking with catchy synth riffs and some really creative and beautiful, if sometimes bizzare or hilariously strange lyrics. I'd reccomend a couple of tracks, but in my slightly (read: very) humble opinion, the entire 12-track album 'Man Alive' is fantastic, so the best i can say is this; track down 'My Kz, Ur BF' on youtube, and go from there. All of their songs have a different tone is one way or another.

He used to be from System of a Down but they disbanded. He does solo stuff now. I like his solo stuff...but he's not my fave anymore |D
