Nah, if you're gonna' distill moonshine you need copper pipe held together with lead solder. That's the only way to do it haha.

Thanks. I've made the flame animation a while ago, actually, for this , I think.

I have one question. Is aniGen better than Synfig? Also, great work. I need to try this thing out, maybe.

I doubt an editor I made in my spare time can compare with something that actually has a development team. But aniGen works with SVG format natively - unlike Synfig Studio - which allows for a greater utility in tandem with Inkscape. Plus, I'm working on a fairly massive overhaul, so it might actually be useful. Synfig definitely has its uses, but it basically uses its proprietary format (I think). In contrast, anything you can make in Inkscape and aniGen you can also put in a web page, make interactive with javascript, and do other fun stuff with it.
But in the end, it comes down to preference.

I'm only assuming here, but is it because this one doesn't spit flames out at random intervals due to mail arrivals?

To their credit, dragons have opposable thumbs. Pretty useful for handling glassware, I'd think.

I would, but I'm afraid I have very little experience with Flash. I can give you some pointers I suppose, but the difference in technology results in different techniques.

I'm afraid I can't, sorry. Like I said, I don't use flash. I don't even have it. I do all my work in SVG. I can see room for improvement in the still poses, but I can't really comment on how they animate.

That would make looping it quite the pickle.
But I kinda want to do something with an explosion now.

That's SVG for you - I could export this thing in 10 000 frames per second if there was any reason to, and each would be its own specific key frame with no blurring, frame transition, or any of the inbetween stuff you'd get with other technology.
