Thank you! Unfortunately I know very little about African folk art. I wanted to represent the idea that human and nature should work together, Africa was in my mind the place where this too are still deeply connected. I worked more on instinct, used images, symbols that popped in my mind when thinking about Africa and this and another 2 sketches were the result.

Ah, okay! I don't know much about African folk art either, that's why I asked. hehe. Yes, I do the same all the time. Instinct.

And it works wonderfully for you too as I've seen in your gallery Very nice compositions! I have a little curiosity, instinct-used somehow in its pure form- I think it can't go wrong, and still I can't help feeling a bit scared that I might ruin it all. Does it happen to you too? Or that from the endless posibilities for representing one thing, I chose the wrong one? Or there is no wrong way?

Oh god, I'm not active here at all, this is late. sorry! I have a tendency to think too much about my drawings (or anything in general), I feel scared ruining it all the time. Though I think that taking those chances would make my drawings better. I guess that's how you learn and grow as an artist. Better try than not trying at all. And I don't think there is no wrong way...only improvement? Thank you and good luck
