No, but they're still black as natural protection because they originate from areas with harsh sunshine. Which is a trait I wouldn't exactly connect to the Goddess of the Night.

And the other girl, I think it's ... Sparkle (?) is also nice drawn. I like the expression.

hehe, this reminds me of a scene Luna went to see Twilight to get a book on the royal family whose records have been expunged from the history of equestria in the fanfic Frigid Winds and Burning Hearts. The way Luna's face and posture is done conveys her character as introverted and a little shy...and shows her innocent side. I wonder what book she's looking for? Twilight, on the other hand, has the look of helpfulness and a certain kind of expression I can't put my finger on... (is it childishness?) The smirk is unmistakable. (btw, where's spike?) very well done on both characters, I like how you conveyed the moment between the princess and the most faithful student.
