Just taking as quick break from my housework (I am waiting for the kitchen floor to dry...) - this is the lineart for my next 'project'. Yes, I am going to attempt to colour some lineart. Wish me luck and prepare for tantrums...It's been a long time since I've inked anything - this was kind of fun. Since I have a horrible suspicion I am going to feck up the end result royally, I like to keep a nice, clean copy for posterity...
No reference, yes she has big hands (it's intentional), no, I haven't drawn feet (originally she had trousers on, but it didn't suit the tone of the picture - the skirt works MUCH better) and I know the moon doesn't fit on the page properly. Buggering scanner....

Holy Bajeesus! That's some really crisp and clear line art. And the differing line weights really gives it a totally professional look. And you did a background!!!! Nooooo! Now I'm the only one who can't do backgrounds anymore!
Hehe, really though, this kicks some major ass. I love her creepy hands and her spiked tail. And that flower back there looks freakin PERFECT. And all the lines are nice and even and straight, you must have a really steady hands. I got very shakey hands and it makes inking difficult. I tend to make blobs from pausing too long, and wavey lines from being jittery. Grrr.
If you cleaning house results in kick ass art like this though...then you should really clean house more often. ... *tracks some dirt and mud on your newly cleaned kitchen floor then awaits more masterpieces.*

I haven't inked anything in donkeys... I was realy nervous about doing it, but it was good fun in the end 
Grr... I hate housework. After scrubbing and vacuuming and washing up yesterday, I woke up this morning to find the slugs had had a party in the hall (mmmmm, slug trails...) the cats had thrown all their food over the floor and I still had everything to wash up from last night. I think I'll live like a slob again. Life is soooo much easier when you're not house-proud...

she's certainly a lovely creature, the hand distortion really adds to the mood, sort of a "come here, I won't hurt you...much"

If I was good with coloring I would have asked an attempt at coloring this but now i can only watch now and drool and of course wait for the colored version

You're good at colouring! If you want to colour her, go ahead (god knows, it'll be better than my scary attempt! Colouring lineart is not my forte...)

Tasteful succubus me dear, I would give only 1 small recomendation though, like her skirt could use a bit more dettails, that should be it. Either way she's looking real cool

I didn't add any more detail to the skirt because I was intending to colour the lineart, and since my previous attempts have gone woefully wrong to the my habit of stupidly exessive detail, I tried to keep it simple... dunno if it'll work, though!

Lovely drawing! The lineart is gorgeous; I love how you really varied the linework. Very clean, with a nice, simple background shape to add to it but not detract attention. =]

I know exactly what you mean--I'm still attempting to do backgrounds, but mostly sticking to non complex designs. In this piece, I prefer the geometrics to a detailed scene! I think PS is just a love/hate thing period. Very fussy, but can be very sweet. =]
