I love the holidays... lots of time to draw!It was too hot to sit in front of the computer colouring today, so I sat in the shade and sketched this - she started off as my new mage Tallulah, but then I got carried away and ended up creating a completely different character! So, if Tallulah was an Aasimar, she might look like this...
I'm going to colour this in with my new Prismacolors... I'm so excited!

She's a part celestial elf (an aasimar is a D&D name for those who have an angelic ancestor in their midst)

Unfortunately, you can't get Prima's in this country - my Mother In Law bought them for my when she was in America. They are amazing... but I'm going to have to be careful with them, because replacing them is going to be a bitch!

Once again lovely lovely lovely costume design! 
Two comments/crits: When you go to color her, use a ruler or straight edge and make sure that her staff doesn't misfire because of that kink in the middle. And check the hand holding the staff. The fingers need some work. Right now they look a little bit like they are dimensionally melding with the staff material.
Other than that...honestly she looks fantastic! Can't wait to see the colors!

In my excitement at playing with my new prismas, I inked this without waiting for crits. Then I slept on it. Then I saw the glaringly obvious mistakes you've just pointed out, and I feel ashamed... I always so stuff like this! Must learn to calm down...

One thing you can do with sketches is, after you have scanned them in, make adjustments to the sketch digitally. Then you can print out the revised sketch on a new piece of paper and ink and color from there.

Hell yea! So glad you finally got some time off! This looks incredible! Very professional looking m'dear...and I don't ever want to hear you complaining about a lack of improvment ever again! I see it plain as day! Her face is very pretty and I love the design of the costume and the staff. Excellent line work!
