...Or the Triumphant Return of Ebony
It's been a while since I trotted the old girl out. I drew this yesterday during roleplaying - was definitely inspired by the drow bitch who was at the time seriously kicking our arses...
So, just a silly sketch, really. No, Ebony hasn't gained claws - I figured this was probably due to some kind of transmutation spell (heh, claws are cool...). No reference = very dodgy anatomy (my bad). I would like to colour this one at some point, so didn't over shade... that and the crap printer paper (it's actually drawn on the back of an old character sheet...) couldn't stand up to the punishment of my shading techniques!

Though the picture shows still a lack of ... I don't know ... practice, talent or simply dedication (do not take this as offense - my own works suffer from that, too, and I cannot draw AT ALL), I do like it. The anatomy might be slightly off, but not that much, there is a lack of detail or a style that uses simplification as one of its expressions, and there even is the idea of dynamics through her post. It would sure be better, if she wouldn't face the viewer directly, but as I said it is good.
Her face panting or mask though make her seem somewhat like a superheroine. A drow going superheroine? Now... I DO like that!

Ebony!!! She lives!!! Nice to see the old girl again, hehe. The claw arm is pretty awesome looking, and her face is gorgeous. Also love the hair; the portion that's pulled back and the wispy bits up front. I missed her so much, it's good to see her back! Hope ya do get around to coloring this one, it looks like it'd be well worth the effort.
(Egads! Everyone is dissing printer paper! ...It's all I ever use, hehe. I know, I know... I'm cheap!

I will colour this one - definitely. I can see it in my minds eye, and when that happens, I get annoyed if I don't do it. Just got to find the time...

For printer paper, which is a serious pain in the @$$ to draw on, I'd say this is fantasic. Nice to have Ebony back. Love the legs... not just for the boots but the well done structure, and the claws are just cool....

I like it! The only problem I see is that her hips look a tiny bit off but eh - for using no reference, this rocks! Can't wait to see it colored!

lol. oh, nothing wrong with that. At KFC, there's this one guy that comes in every day to drive one of the employees home - he sits there for hours just eating lots and lots of food and reading science fiction novels.. oh.. and did I mention.. this poor guy is HUGE. So you're not a nerd! and even if you have a little in your blood, that's ok. haha at least you don't do what that guy does..

Printer paper is evil! Belive me! You see it there and think "Hey, what a nice, white piece of A4 paper... I want to doodle on it"... But it is the paper that makes you think so... I compared some of my crappy sketches I did on a sketchbook with those I did on printer paper and the ones in the sketchbook look less crappier than the ones on printer paper.
This sketch isn't crappy, anyway... mine were, but yours is not!
It seems to me a good start for a finishd picture! Maybe with colours and adding some sparks or other effects around her clawed hand so that one can see it is magic.
Her face is very pretty! Drop dead pretty!

Oooh, printr paper is indeed evil. I was cut short yesterday (finding myself round somebody elses house without a sketch book.... MAJOR DISASTER!!!) so I had to improvise... Damn the thinness of it and it's general crappery! 
I was actually quite surprised at how her face happened - this is the first rendering without any rubbing out. Isn't it nice when these things just happen?!
